PONDER UPON IT

I have observed and noted changes in celebration of FESTIVALS. When I was kid and had two brothers , we were enjoying festivals with more gaiety.Though my father was only bread earner in the family and we were living in two room flat type CHHALI/ DELO in UPLETA. With scant resources, my mother start preparing for such festival days before. So was the case with our neighbors too. Muslims friends were also participating and we were enjoying id at their home. No rift was there at that time. Muslims friends were enjoying our company more then some of their family friends.
Now in these days what change I found ? In these days FESTIVALS are celebrated not for our own sake but to show others that we are so much happy..!!!!! In DIWALI and DUSSARA we put colourful lights on road and in ID muslims are duplicating the same. The way competition has begin in between two companies and they start media campaign for the sale...!!!!
We have lost charms of celebration as we do not have inner peace and are afraid of even our friends. Festivals ask us to forget all eremites and feuds and start from the beginning. Festivals ask us to take inner look within our self and compel to make inner and self audit..Do we do that ?? Probably not. We are posting pictures of Diwali and ID on face book wall and not showing our face to our friends. Complete dried and lack luster festival these are. With prosperity we gain in last decade, we have lost confidence in our relationships and we live helplessly , afraid of our future and of our next generation. This was not the faith behind the festivals we were bestow upon by our forefather..............
I left this to ponder upon by all of you....

PONDER UPON IT.

No muslim leaders or Hindu leaders has spoken a single word against AMARNATH YATRA's turmoil. When Pravin Togdiya used harsh language( We strongly condemn that) then all parties COngress, SP , BSP, NCP BJP etc started to make hue and cry. AMARNATH YATRA is also one of the very sacred YATRA associated with HINUD Faith. When DIgvijay ( DIGGI) address OSAMAJI to an extremist then also such so called secular leaders keep mum. What kind of secularism is this ??

I am writing this to site the episode of MAHARASHTRA SADAN when a muslim employee was forcefully asked to taste ROTI ( though he was on ROZA/ FAST). I do condemn the act as it is below dignity for any human being ( not because of his muslim religion) ,but then aftermath what happened in Parliament is very shameful.

The entire day of Parliament was discussing the episode that has no fruitful bearing on national platform. OASIS ( Hydrabad's MP) was furious on the episode and had very hot discussion with SHIV SENA's MP. Both MP's behavior were shameful for the nation. I asked OASIS ( I may spell it wrong as I am not sure about his name) where he was when AMARNATH pilgrim errs ' tents were burnt ? Why he did not utter a single sentence for that hindu YATRI ???

As a MP all are representatives of nation and not of any religion. Hence they should not advocate any such paltry issues but issues that has long term bearing on Indian Nationality.

Railway fare and NDA Government- NDA- MODI Govenment- after one month of rule

.
The hike in Railway fare and freights are well received by Share Market. How long we should rely on subsidies and on government help ? At last these all subsidies support inefficiency and malpractices. The financial burden that union government is bearing is side effect of inefficiency.
Congress led UPA govt. is responsible for the straight way 14% hike in fare. This is because of their lingering tendencies and hesitation to take bold decisions. Had UPA govt. hiked the fare in small doze during its tenure such strong doze would have been avoided. In last ten years UPA had seldom hike the railway fare. The railway minister from TMC ( forget name ) who hiked the fare was shown the door. This tendency of UPA has thrown Indian economy into a ditch. There are many reasons for which this hike can be justified.
First thing first, IF we wish to call us a developed economy , wheel of development/ Railway must be in good shape. Services of Railway are in very poor states.TO improve that this hike was need of hour.
Secondly, railway accidents are on rise , TO save public properties and lives this hike was must.
NDA govt. is determined to start bullet train. This is vital for development. In every developed country ,one will find train that runs in speed of 200 kmps minimum. In India we donot have any train that surpasses 150 kmps. In China and Japan the speed of some express trains go beyond 250 Kmps. To match with these Asian giants , Indian Railway need funds. A Railway that bears loss of Rs. 96 crores daily can not afford such speedy train and without safety net work such train will become grave yards for passengers
Journey in Railway should be remembered as a pleasant experience. In India exactly reverse situation is found. A family with young girls with them will find it difficult to travel in railway in many zone of India.
Finally, Railway is very easy pray for Pakistani extremist group. To save our Railway system to become easy target , fund was needed and that must come from pocket of passengers. We have to change our way of thinking now. Nothing is available at free of cost in this world. Why that should be given by any Government or any agency of government.
If we love our India , we have to wait to see what improvement Railway will give in its services and an frank audit must be made for that. If services are improved then such hikes should be justified.....Wait for some time to see such changes. Till them keep your fingers crossed.

In continuation with review of , Draft Paper titled – Higher Education in India: Retrospection of Advent and Growth of Private Sector- authored by Dr. Kishor Joshi, Dept. of Economics, MKBU, Bhavnagar.
The draft paper reveals vital data under the sub-head, Growth of Indian Higher education by institute and enrollment. It claims that India has the highest numbers of educational institution followed by China. As per the draft paper, Institutions having status of University has registered 23% increase during 1950- 2012.During the same tenure, colleges registered 51% jump between 1950 to 2013. The enrollment that was 397000 in 1951 had climbed to 28560000 in 2011-12.  An interesting statistics is also given, in the draft paper, regarding institutions and number of enrolled students. It is related with the strength of students registered with colleges. The paper reveals that 30% colleges enrolled less than 100 students. Colleges enrolled between 100 to 500 were 34%. Only 4% colleges’ enrolled has more than 3000 students enrolled. Thus it shows, nearly 76% students enrolled belong to small institutions. Out of them, it is not given how many are in rural, urban and rurarban area. Out of total enrollment 79% are undergraduates and merely 2% goes for higher studies such as Ph.D. M.Phil. and PG Diploma etc.
The draft paper gives very vital data related to Higher Education scenario. It has used very reliable sources for the data (as claimed in my first review). It claims that in 2011-12 out of 700 universalities half of then offered multi-disciplinary. 33 Agriculture Universities, 24 Medical Universities and 17 Law Universities. There were 35539 Colleges during the period of which 66 % offered General Course.

The paper claimed that enrollment were dominated by conventional courses-Arts, Commerce, Science, and Management.. It amount to almost 60% of the total enrolment during the period. GER ( Gross Enrolment Ratio ) that was nearly 8.1% in year 2000-01 has climbed to 20.4% in 2011-12.

Reviewing of Draft paper of Dr. K.M. Joshi related with Higher Education in India-Retrospection on Advent and Growth of Private Sector.

These days I am reviewing a draft paper written by Dr.  Kishor Joshi Economis Dept. MKBU Bhavnagar.. The title of the draft is ‘Higher Education in India: Retrospection on Advent and Growth of Private Sector’ and it is about  private higher education in India and its growth story.  The paper is spread in seven sections and each section covers different relevant issues. The major themes of the sections are financing, equity, efficiency, quality and private higher education.  The data source of the paper has been MHRD, UGC and FICCI. It is observed that a substantial amount has been incurred on higher education in all the five year plans. The absolute number in terms of allocation reveals improvement in allocation during each following plan.  The draft gives contradictory review instead. The figure adjusted with inflation rate and declining of rupee value gives negative growth instead of positive as govt. claims.
The study also reveals that higher education expenditure has improved, but the fruits of development have not transformed in enhancing living standards of people.
The government always claims for   increasing and higher allocation of funds for higher education. But the draft comes out with facts and figures (based on the data of government sources) that so called fund never exceeded 8%  of total outlay of plan ( hardly crossed the inflation rate on an average) . Thus instead of allocating more funds for higher education, in real terms it has declined. Thus government claims  do not reflect the factual state with regard to allocation of funds for higher education.
The study further reveals that 85% of the funds go for administrative expenditure and the rest  15% for capacity building. State governments’ fund for higher is largely spent on salaries and it ignores the need of infrastructure and capacity building.

Sun Pharma acquire Ranbaxy Pharma...from Daiichi.

Sun Pharma acquire Ranbaxy Pharma...from Daiichi............

The news has given a short in arm to Indian Pharma Industry. From last some years such news were few. Such big deals from Indian company gives confident to Indians that we are marching ahead in World Economy. Our voice , as Indian will also be heard at International level. In more , such event, will give confident and motivation to other Indian companies to move ahead and to grow fast. In competitive age , domestic growth will be for paper use only. to sustain and grow at international level will prove one's standard and might.

Now SUN is shining bright and it has don at , deal of largest value in Indian Pharma Industry.( $ 4 billion ). Makov ( previously with Teva Pharma - Isreali Pharma company) has played major role to persuade Daiichi Board to make the deal. As news papers report the meeting continue for 8 hours to persuade Japani Company for the deal. Israel and her people are known for their aggression. Here the aggression is shown by Makov in making deal by using his experience and relation with industrial experts.

I salute Shri. Mukesh Sahghavi and his team for completing the deal. Now SUN will become fifth largest generic Drug making company in the world. Hope that SUN will shine forever and more such acquisition will make it the largest pharma in the globe.

Appeal of Shahi Imam to vote for congress and for secular candidates

..PONDER UPON IT.......
Charity begins at Home. Shahi Imam's brother is not agreed with him and has opposed and challenged Imam's statement
." Imam PAHLE APNA GHAR SAMBHALO AUR PHIR HINDUSTAN KE MUSALMAN KI FIKAR KARO.
I will ask following questions to Imam to prove his secularism and to be champion for muslim community.
1. Where he was when in communal riot of Mujjaferpur , innocent Indians were killed ? ( Hindu and Muslims both)
2. What efforts he has made to bring on surface facts of 2002 riots in Gujarat. ?
3. Will he plant a TIKKA on his forehead in a MANDIR OR GURUDWARA and perform an arti ? ( If not, he has no legitimate right to tell any party or person to stamp non secular . equally he can not blaim Modi to be non secular for not putting on Muslim topi )
4. If he has so much influence over Muslims of India then why congress is loosing seats in every state one after another.( Means his appeal are turning to deaf ears , his claims are not true).
5. When any extremist attacked our country from neighboring countries , involving Muslims , how many times , Imam has given public statement in favor of India and condemn strongly the attack on India. Any public statement please ?? In any news paper ??.
6. I am not BJP follower and nor in any other party , I am well wisher of India and all Indian. What would be my status in your language. Secular or non-secular ???
7. Can Imam name any country for Indian Muslim where Muslims are safer then in India ?????
8. And FINALLY WITH ALL DUE RESPECT AND WITH OATH AND TRUE BANDGI OF ALLAH, I WILL ASK ALL SECULAR MUSLIMS, FOR US LORD RAM IS OUR IDENTITY , WE CHAT THE NAME WHEN OUR BODY IS CONSUMED BY FIRE...THE LAST RITUAL.....IF MAJORITY OF SECULAR MUSLIMS APPROACH TO CENTRAL GOVT. AND PERSUADE ALL MUSLIMS OF INDIA TO GIFT RAM MANDIR TO HINDU , WILL IT NOT GIVE A CREDIBLE STATUS TO ALL OF YOU ???? REMEMBER BABAR WAS A KINg AND NOT LORD...WHY TO WAIT FOR SUPREME COURT DECISION ? CAN NOT YOU PEOPLE TAKE INITIATIVE OF YOUR OWN..ONCE YOU TAKE THAT STEP AND SEE THAT ALL NON SECULAR PARTIE'S SHOPS SHUTTERS WILL COME DOWN...
8. SECULARISM IS NOT IN SYMBOLS BUT IN ACT . WITHOUT ANY BIAS I CAN TELL, HINDUS ARE MORE SECULAR AS THEY HAVE ELECTED LEADERS , THAT HAVE GIVEN US THE CONSTITUTION. WHILE MUSLIMS HAVE ALWAYS MAKE MISTAKE AND SELDOM SUCCESSFUL IN SELECTING LEADER THAT TAKE CARE AND WORK FOR THE COMMUNITY..THIS ELECTION IS ANOTHER CHANCE . GRAB AND SHOW YOUR METTLE TO BUILD BRIGHT INDIA....
JAI HIND..JAY BHARAT..
